The Milwaukee Dodgers and the Philadelphia Indians locked up in an exciting
one-run game at Cleveland Stadium.  The final score was the Milwaukee Dodgers
3, the Philadelphia Indians 2 in 13 innings.
 
The score was knotted at 1 after nine innings.  Finally, Milwaukee pulled the
game out in the 13th inning.  After an out was recorded, Ron Cey kicked off
the action when he laced a base-hit.  John Hale followed, but he was set down
on strikes.  Wayne Nordhagen then bombed a two-run dinger.  For the game
Milwaukee out-hit Philadelphia 9 to 5.  
 
The win went to Eduardo Rodriguez(1-0) who allowed 1 run in 2 and 2/3 innings.
Mike Garman recorded his 1st save.  Tug McGraw(0-1) was given the loss in
relief.
