Don Sutton had a complete game at Cleveland Stadium as the Milwaukee Dodgers
beat the Philadelphia Indians 3 to 2.

Sutton(1-0) looked very much in control throughout the night. He was stingy
on the mound, allowing just 6 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings. The Philadelphia
batters didn't put up a fight in the bottom of the 9th.

Dennis Eckersley(0-1) was charged with the loss. He surrended 3 homeruns in
his 8 innings.
