Jose Cruz launched 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Ken Forsch was able to finish
what he started and was credited with a complete game at Dodger Stadium as
the Houston White Sox beat the Milwaukee Dodgers 11 to 5.

Cruz had a big day with his bat. He cracked a solo homerun in the 1st inning,
tripled which was good for two runs in the 2nd inning, doubled in the 5th
inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 6th inning. Houston
managed 12 hits in their victory.

The winning pitcher was Forsch(1-0) who allowed 5 runs for the game. Jim
Slaton(0-2) was tagged with the loss. He was knocked around by Houston,
allowing 8 hits and 2 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.

'Cruz led the way - we just jumped on his back and let him take us,' Forsch
said. 'I'm glad I don't have to face him. I'm glad he's on my team.'
