Don Sutton completed the game without help from the bullpen at Dodger Stadium
as the Milwaukee Dodgers won a thriller over the Philadelphia Indians in, 3
to 2.
 
The game was decided in the 9th inning.  After an out was recorded, Don Money
lined a base-hit.  Robin Yount stepped up to the plate and he stroked a
single.  Ron Cey then would ground out making Milwaukee the victor and
beginning a joyous home town celebration.  Milwaukee finished with 8 hits in
the victory.  
 
Sutton(3-0) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. Wayne Garland(1-1)
was charged with the loss.  He pitched 8 and 1/3 innings allowing 8 hits and
2 walks.
