14,999 fans watched an exciting game at Wrigley Field.  The Milwaukee Dodgers
topped the California Cubs by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.
 
Both teams had scored 3 runs after nine full innings.  Milwaukee came out the
victor in the 10th inning.  Chet Lemon drew a walk.  Robert Latorre then
called for a steal which was successful.  Don Money struck out, unable to
help the rally.  Robin Yount stepped in and he laced a base-knock.  Bob
McClure stepped into the box and grounded into a double play.  Milwaukee had
only 6 hits for the night.  
 
McClure(1-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 3 innings. Rick Reuschel(1-2)
was the losing pitcher.  He allowed just 6 hits and 1 walk in 9 and 1/3
innings.
