The San Francisco Yankees nipped the Houston White Sox 4 to 3 at Comiskey Park
in a hard fought contest.

Ed Halicki(1-2) had a steady outing. He went 6 innings allowing 7 hits and 2
walks. Both teams totaled 8 hits on the night.

Halicki got help from Gary Lavelle who was credited with his 1st save. Joe
Sambito(1-1) was the loser in relief. 'I didn't have my best stuff but
sometimes you just get lucky,' Halicki said, 'this was one of those times.'
