Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Milwaukee Dodgers ran
roughshod over the seemingly hapless Texas Padres. The Milwaukee offense
rolled up a total of 12 runs!.

Wayne Nordhagen provided much of the offense. He blasted a two-run home run
in the 3rd inning, doubled bringing in a run in the 7th inning and laced a
one-base hit scoring a run in the 8th inning. Offensively, Milwaukee was a
juggernaut. They scored in 6 separate innings.

Tommy John(1-3) was the winner allowing 2 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. The
losing pitcher was Mike Flanagan(1-3). He allowed 7 hits and 3 walks in 2
innings.
