Bowa hit a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Philadelphia Indians defeated the
Atlanta Athletics by the score of 6 to 5 at Oakland Coliseum.
 
Philadelphia came up with 4 runs in the top of the 5th inning when they had 4
base hits.  The key at-bat was by Bake McBride who disappointed the partisan
crowd when he clubbed a three-run home run.  Philadelphia finished with 8
hits in the victory.
