Don Sutton tossed a complete game and Reggie Smith hit 2 doubles and had 5 RBI
as the Milwaukee Dodgers outscored the San Francisco Yankees 11 to 2.
 
The Milwaukee fans enjoyed the offense provided by Smith.  He doubled scoring
a run in the 1st inning, doubled bringing home two baserunners in the 3rd
inning and stroked a one-base hit knocking in a run in the 5th inning.
Milwaukee had a total of 12 hits for the game.  
 
The victory went to Sutton(5-0) who went the distance allowing 2 runs. The
losing pitcher was Ed Figueroa(1-2).  He was unable to control the Milwaukee
offense and allowed 10 hits and 6 walks in 6 innings.
