Bob Watson smacked 2 triples and had 5 RBI as the Houston White Sox really
laid it on the St. Louis Twins 18 to 8.

Watson enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He tripled plating a run in the
4th inning, stroked a one-base hit which was good for two runs in the 7th
inning and tripled scoring two baserunners in the 8th inning. Houston
provided plenty of action in the 2nd inning which saw them score 5 runs on 5
hits and the 7th inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 3 hits. Houston
dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.

Rick Rhoden(3-1) went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing 8 runs for the win. Eric
Rasmussen(0-5) was the loser. He surrendered 9 hits and no walks in 1 and
1/3 innings.
