Third baseman Bill Robinson left the yard and had 2 RBI as the Baltimore
Pirates bested the Philadelphia Indians 6 to 4 at Cleveland
Stadium.
 
Baltimore won the game with a rally in the 9th inning plating 2 runs utilizing
2 base hits.  After an out was recorded, Rennie Stennett was the sparkplug
when he stroked a single.  Pat Kelly came next and he drew a walk.  Robinson
then ripped a one-base hit.  Willie Stargell stepped in and he hit a
sacrifice fly.  Baltimore totaled 11 hits on the night.  
 
Jerry Reuss(1-0) got the win allowing 4 runs in 8 innings. Rich Gossage earned
the save, his 9th.  Don Hood(0-2) was hit with the loss in relief.  
 
'I had a little blister on my index finger before the game, but I thought it
was nothing.' Reuss said.  'I was lucky I got a win because I couldn't put
the ball where I wanted it.'
