11,383 fans watched an exciting game at Comiskey Park.  The Houston White Sox
topped the Milwaukee Dodgers by the slimmest of margins, 2 to 1.
 
The game was decided in the 8th inning.  After two outs Jose Cruz doubled.
Cesar Cedeno stepped up next and he lashed a single.  Cedeno was running on
the next pitch and he stole second.  Lerrin Lagrow came throught with a
perfect ninth inning to earn his 6th save.  
 
Joe Sambito(3-2) went 2 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Burt
Hooton(2-3) was charged with the loss.  He allowed just 2 runs and 4 hits in
8 innings.
