Jim Slaton had a complete game and Robin Yount had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the
Houston White Sox were badly beaten by the Milwaukee Dodgers, 16 to 1.
 
Yount enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He doubled which scored a run in the
4th inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 6th inning, banged
out a single in the 8th inning and hit a one-base hit bringing in a run in
the 8th inning.  Milwaukee lit up the scoreboard in the 8th inning when they
had 7 runs on 7 hits.  Offensively, Milwaukee was a juggernaut.  They scored
in 6 separate innings.  
 
The win went to Slaton(3-4) who allowed 1 run in the game. Doug Rau(0-2)
absorbed the loss.  Milwaukee scored big getting 7 runs off him in 5 innings.
