Andre Dawson hit for the cycle and had 5 RBI and Steve Rogers tossed a
complete game as the Kansas City Expos bested the Philadelphia Indians 15 to
6 at Olympic Stadium.

Dawson enjoyed a great evening at the plate. He lofted a three-run 'big-fly'
in the 1st inning, doubled bringing in a run in the 6th inning, tripled
knocking in a run in the 7th inning and banged out a single in the 8th
inning. Kansas City kept the scorekeepers busy in the 1st inning which saw
them plate 4 runs on 3 hits and the 6th inning with 5 runs on 6 hits. Kansas
City totaled 17 hits on the night.

The win was credited to Rogers(5-3) who went the whole way allowing 6 runs.
Dennis Eckersley(4-3) took the loss. He allowed Kansas City 7 runs in 5 and
1/3 innings of work.
