Ken Forsch shutout California while allowing the Houston bullpen a day-off at
Comiskey Park as the Houston White Sox beat the California Cubs by the count
of 6 to 0.
 
Cesar Cedeno provided much of the offense.  He doubled which plated a run in
the 3rd inning and clubbed a two-run home run in the 4th inning.  After the
4th inning, neither team was able to score.  
 
Forsch(3-2) went the distance for the shutout. Nolan Ryan(3-7) ended up with
the loss.  Houston now has a record of 20-19.  With the loss, California has
a record of 6-4 lately, 20-19 overall.
