Left fielder Larry Hisle lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 2 RBI as
the St. Louis Twins defeated the Atlanta Athletics 12 to 9 at Oakland
Coliseum.
 
Hisle had a big day with his bat.  He banged out a single in the 1st inning,
bombed a two-run dinger in the 3rd inning and tripled in the 5th inning.  St.
Louis kept the pressure on throughout the contest as they scored in 6
different innings.  
 
The winning pitcher was John Urrea(6-2) who allowed 5 runs in 7 innings. Al
Hrabosky earned his 1st save.  Vida Blue(2-9) was charged with the loss.  He
was knocked around, surrendering 7 runs in 2 innings.
