The Milwaukee Dodgers edged the Boston Mets at Fenway Park by the score of 5
to 4.
 
In the top of the 5th inning Milwaukee went on top for good scoring 2 runs
using 3 hits.  Ron Cey led off the inning for Milwaukee when he doubled.
Robin Yount stepped into the batter's box and he stroked a single.  A balk
was called.  Wayne Nordhagen stepped in and he laced a base-knock.  Two outs
later Sixto Lezcano stepped up to the plate and he drew a walk.  Cecil Cooper
got his chance to keep things going, but he went down on strikes.  Milwaukee
banged out 9 hits on the night.  
 
Burt Hooton(6-3) got the win allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. Elias Sosa got the
save, his 5th.  Jon Matlack(3-5) ended up with the loss.  He allowed 5 hits
and 2 walks in 7 innings.
