Eric Rasmussen tossed a complete game as the St. Louis Twins won a dandy at
Busch Stadium over the Philadelphia Indians, 2 to 1.

St. Louis scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Keith
Hernandez ripped a one-base hit. Ted Simmons came next and he reached on an
error. Garry Templeton then doubled giving St. Louis the win much to the
delight of the home town crowd. St. Louis rapped out 7 hits for the night.

The win went to Rasmussen(4-7) who allowed 1 run in the game. Ron Reed(2-2)
was the loser in relief. He allowed 2 hits and no walks without retiring a
batter.
