Frank Tanana tossed a complete game at Wrigley Field as the California Cubs
beat the Milwaukee Dodgers 6 to 2.

California scored 5 runs in the decisive 3rd inning. That early run support
was all that Tanana(10-3) required. Although they lost, Milwaukee did
out-hit California 9 to 5.

Burt Hooton(6-4) was given the loss. It was a tough loss for him as he did
not allow an earned run in his 2 and 1/3 innings of work.
