Dusty Baker slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI and Jim Slaton had a complete game
at Wrigley Field as the Milwaukee Dodgers beat the California Cubs 6 to
4.
 
Milwaukee came through with the game-winning runs in the 9th inning scoring 2
runs utilizing 3 base hits.  After an out was recorded, Joe Ferguson started
the attack as he delivered a single.  Baker stepped up next and he cleared
the fences for a two-run home run.  Reggie Smith then was hit by a pitch.
Chet Lemon was up next and he delivered a one-base hit.  Milwaukee had 10
hits for the afternoon.  
 
The win was credited to Slaton(5-5) who went the whole way allowing 4 runs.
Bruce Sutter(0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief.
