Second baseman Rod Carew rocketed 2 homeruns as the St. Louis Twins topped the
Boston Mets by a score of 10 to 5 at Busch Stadium.

Bob Forsch(4-4) had a steady outing. He surrendered 8 hits and 1 walk in 6
and 1/3 innings. Due to a poorly pitched ballgame, scoring in 5 different
innings was still not enough for Boston to come away with the victory.

Ron Schueler got the save, his 2nd. Jerry Koosman(9-5) was given the loss.
He served up 4 homeruns in his 5 and 1/3 innings.
