At Oakland Coliseum the Milwaukee Dodgers were battered 12 to 5 by the Atlanta
Athletics.

Jeff Burroughs had a good evening at the plate. He ripped a base-hit which
brought home a run in the 1st inning, clubbed a two-run home run in the 3rd
inning and doubled in the 5th inning. Atlanta finished with 15 hits while
Milwaukee ended up with 10.

Vida Blue(4-11) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 and 2/3 innings and
allowing 5 runs. Moose Haas(1-1) was hit with the loss. He got hit pretty
hard, allowing 11 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.
