The Philadelphia Indians had very little trouble at Dodger Stadium downing the
Milwaukee Dodgers in 10 innings. The score was 10 to 5.

Both teams were tied at 5 runs apiece after nine innings. Finally,
Philadelphia prevailed in the 10th inning. The key at-bat was by Mike
Schmidt who disappointed the partisan crowd when he clubbed a three-run home
run. Philadelphia finished with 13 hits while Milwaukee ended up with 7.

The win went to Tug McGraw(3-2) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Elias
Sosa(3-4) took the loss in relief. He allowed 4 hits and no walks in 1 and
2/3 innings.
