The Kansas City Expos easily topped the Baltimore Pirates; the final score was
11 to 6.

Kansas City jumped on top to stay in the top of the 2nd inning plating 2 runs.
After an out was recorded, Hal McRae jump-started the rally as he tripled.
Andre Dawson came next and he drew a walk. Dawson took his lead and swiped
second. Dave Cash followed and he would ground out. Dock Ellis then was
wild with a pitch. Baltimore scored in 5 different innings, but their shaky
pitching kept them from victory.

Steve Rogers(11-7) was the winner allowing 6 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings.
Ellis(8-8) was tagged with the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 9 hits
and 2 walks in 6 innings.
