With the crowd on their collective feet, screaming at the top of their lungs,
Milwaukee Dodgers rallied to top Texas Padres by the score of 7 to
6.

Milwaukee had the game winning rally in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs on 2
base hits. After an out was recorded, Sixto Lezcano opened up the rally as
he doubled. Chet Lemon got his chance to keep things going, but he went down
on strikes. Cecil Cooper then slapped a one-base hit. Cooper swiped second
base. Don Money came up to bat and reached on an error. Texas out-hit
Milwaukee 11 to 8, but Milwaukee ended up with more runs.

Elias Sosa(5-4) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. The loss was
charged to Len Barker(0-3) in relief. He gave up 1 hit and no walks in 1/3
of an inning.

Robert Latorre was in great spirits in his post-game interview. Yet, when
asked about his feelings after the thrilling comeback victory, he
volunteered, 'I'll tell you this much - I know how my counterpart, Scott
Phillip, feels right now - and it's not very good. It's terrible when you
come up on the short end of one of these!'
